Dr. Tim McAnulty

BDS (Hons) Grad Cert Dent (Uni Adel), FICD, FADI, FPFA

Dr Tim McAnulty completed Dentistry at Sydney University graduating with Honours in 1977 and in 1978 commenced practice as an assistant dentist in Nyngan on the Central Western Plains of NSW. Over the following two years he provided dental services in both Nyngan and Cobar before concentrating on the Nyngan practice full-time after purchasing it in 1980.

During the 1980s and early 1990s he also worked part-time for NSW Health providing Dental Services for school aged children at the Nyngan Public School Dental Clinic. In 2004, he completed the Graduate Certificate in Dentistry from Adelaide University and in the same year he and his family moved to Orange as partner with Dr Arthur Mills and then as sole Practice Principal.  Since his move to Orange, Tim has held the positions of Clinical Lecturer Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney and Clinical Tutor School of Dentistry, Charles Sturt University at various times.

Tim has been a member of ADA NSW since graduation and is currently serving as a Director on the ADA NSW Board, and has been a Councillor since 2016. He has been an active member of the ADA NSW Western Division having held the position of Secretary and has just completed his time as Chair of the Division. He also serves on several ADA NSW Committees.

Tim is is a fellow of the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of Dentistry International.

Dr. Sabrina Manickam

BDS (Syd), FICD FADI FPFA

Sabrina received her degree from the University of Sydney in 1993 and was the recipient of the University of Sydney, Faculty of Dentistry, Alumni Jubilee Medal 2001 for Outstanding Contributions to the Profession & Clinical Dentistry. Sabrina moved to Orange in 1999 and worked for the Orange health Service where she became the Area Clinical Director for Oral Health in the Greater Western Area Health Service, with a conjoint appointment as Sub-Dean, Rural Dental Programs, with the University of Sydney. Sabrina was formerly teaching at Charles Sturt University from 2008-2013 as a foundation academic in the position of senior lecturer and later as Associate Head of School.  Her teaching area included the fields of professionalism, ethics and preparation for practice as well as pre-clinical restorative dentistry and general clinical dentistry. Her research interest is in oral malignancy and particularly patient oral cancer screening in rural and regional areas.

She has held significant roles with the NSW Branch of the ADA since 2004 and was NSW President 2015-17. She is also currently active with the ADA Western Division. Sabrina has held a ministerial appointment as the Chair of the Assessment Committee of the NSW Dental Council from 2010–2015 which is the investigative arm of the complaints process in NSW. She was previously appointed to the Dental Care Assessment Committee of the NSW Dental Board from 2003-2007.

Sabrina has been a dental practitioner with McAnulty Family Dental since 2013 and now as a partner since January 2019. Sabrina is a fellow of the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of Dentistry International.

Dr. Andrew Flood

B.Dent Sci (CSU)

Dr Andrew Flood was born and raised in Orange, and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science in Orange, from Charles Sturt University. Throughout his university studies, Andrew has been mentored by both Dr. Sabrina Manickam and Dr. Tim McAnulty, and as such has adopted their strong sense of community and patient-focused care.

While especially interested in preventative and restorative dentistry, Andrew is skilled in every aspects of dentistry, and above all strives to be a well-rounded and balanced family practitioner.

Andrew is ethical, holistic and logical in the way he explains and provides care. By taking the time to get to know his patients and their needs, he hopes to make each and every visit a positive experience. Andrew loves the opportunity to treat whole families – from children to their great grandparents.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys immersing himself in the vibrant local music scene of Orange. While keen to travel, Andrew still holds a a special place in his heart for his hometown, and hopes to continue to serve his community for many years to come.
